Abomics has appointed Andrea Izquierdo Bouldstridge as Lead Bioinformatician. Andrea strengthens the company’s expertise in bioinformatics and genomics and supports the continued development of clinically actionable pharmacogenetic solutions.
Andrea holds a background in Biology, an MSc in Bioinformatics, and a PhD in Human Genetics. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in genetics and next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis, with a particular focus on applying genomic data in precision medicine. Her experience spans both scientific research and the practical implementation of genomic analysis in healthcare contexts.
At Abomics, Andrea will contribute to advancing genomic interpretation and strengthening the scientific foundation behind the company’s pharmacogenetic solutions. Andrea says:
