T\u00e4llaisia l\u00e4\u00e4keaineita ovat esimerkiksi yleiset masennusl\u00e4\u00e4kkeet essitalopraami ja amitriptyliini sek\u00e4 veritulppia ehk\u00e4isev\u00e4 klopidogreeli.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4ri harkitsee farmakogeneettisen testin tekemist\u00e4 l\u00e4\u00e4kitysp\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen yhteydess\u00e4. Erityisesti testist\u00e4 voivat hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 mm. masennuspotilaat, syd\u00e4n- ja verisuonitauteja sairastavat sek\u00e4 potilaat, joilla on useita samanaikaisia l\u00e4\u00e4kityksi\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p>Koska geeniperim\u00e4mme on muuttumaton, eiv\u00e4t testin tulokset vanhene vaan ovat voimassa koko el\u00e4m\u00e4n.
