Testaaminen v\u00e4hensi p\u00e4ivystysk\u00e4yntej\u00e4 42 %, uusia sairaalajaksoja 52 % ja p\u00e4ivystysk\u00e4yntej\u00e4 sek\u00e4 sairaalajaksoja yhteens\u00e4 48 % kahden kuukauden seurantajakson aikana. V\u00e4hentyneen p\u00e4ivystysk\u00e4yntien ja sairaalahoidon tarpeen arvioitiin s\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4neen seurantajaksolla noin 4000 \u20ac per potilas. <a href=\"#referenssit\"><sup>4<\/sup><\/a><\/p><p>Saksalaistutkimuksen mukaan yli 65-vuotiaista 37 %:lla on monil\u00e4\u00e4kitys, ja 42 % k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n yht\u00e4 l\u00e4\u00e4kett\u00e4, johon farmakogenetiikka vaikuttaa merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti <a href=\"#referenssit\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>. Yht\u00e4aikaisten l\u00e4\u00e4kitysten m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n kasvaessa my\u00f6s riski haittavaikutuksiin kasvaa. Helsingin ja Kuopion yliopistollisissa sairaaloissa tehdyss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa yli 65-vuotiaiden polyfarmasiapotilaiden p\u00e4ivystysk\u00e4ynneist\u00e4 16\u201329 %:ssa l\u00e4\u00e4kitysongelmat liittyiv\u00e4t varmasti tai todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isesti p\u00e4ivystykseen hakeutumisen syyhyn <a href=\"#referenssit\"><sup>6<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p><p>Englannissa tehdyss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa todettiin, ett\u00e4 yli 70-vuotiaista 89 %:lle oli m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4tty l\u00e4\u00e4ke, johon farmakogenetiikka vaikuttaa. Vastaavasti 25 %:lle oli m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4tty v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n viisi l\u00e4\u00e4kett\u00e4, joihin farmakogenetiikka vaikuttaa.<a href=\"#referenssit\"><sup>7<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9850e3b elementor-invisible elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9850e3b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;fadeIn&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Farmakogeneettisell\u00e4 testill\u00e4 voi ennakoida potilaan yksil\u00f6llist\u00e4 l\u00e4\u00e4kevastetta ja ennalta enhk\u00e4ist\u00e4 potilaalle tehottomien l\u00e4\u00e4kkeiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4. Toisaalta l\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4ri my\u00f6s n\u00e4kee testist\u00e4, jos jotkin l\u00e4\u00e4kkeet aiheuttavat normaaliannostuksella potilaalle hyvin todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isesti haittavaikutuksia.
